Wayfarer's Moon is a high-fantasy action/adventure which takes place in the world of Lachryn. There are two main characters: Iri, a tough, battle-hardened half-elf; and Lily, a naive human farm girl who's lost her family. In this first volume, the two meet and Iri takes Lily under her wing, while circumstances steer them into conflict with the mastermind behind the raid that wiped out Lily's family and village.
At it's core, Wayfarer's Moon is about our two heroes finding where they belong in the world. Iri, who's life of service to her people has lead her to isolation and loneliness, while Lily must learn to fend for herself and figure out who she wants to be. Each of them learns from the other and Iri eventually discovers the person she used to be, while Lily discovers who she meant to be.
Wayfarer's Moon: The Road From Southfield collects the first six issues of the comic in one 166-page package, with two full-color maps, an illustrated short-story, and several pages of guest art.
